CPCR Act Enacted
The Parliament of India enacted the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, mandating State Commissions for child rights.
2011
PSCPCR Established
Government of Punjab constituted the Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights under Section 17 of the CPCR Act.
2016
Online Complaint System Launched
PSCPCR introduced an online complaint management system, making it easier for citizens to file and track complaints.
2020
District-Level Networks Strengthened
Appointment of District Coordinators in all 23 districts to strengthen grassroots implementation and complaint handling.
2024
PGRS Integration & Website Redesign
Integration with Government of India’s PGRS portal and launch of redesigned accessible, multilingual website.
